So much of everything.
The way you say those words,
calls all normalcy into question.
This is the way to speak.
This is the way to touch another’s soul.
This is the way to make someone a believer.
This is everything.
The way you say those words,
is clouds wrapped in sunshine.
Smooth as liquid silk.
Hot as melting chocolate.
Full as just rained rivers.
Open as the most vast plain.
The way you say those words,
is enough to send me sailing away.
Looking forward to the very next time you say:
“Hey you…”
In that way that only you can do.
